Spiritual Occupation
O Jehovah, incline thine ear,
So You will be able to hear;
My request of this urgency,
In coming to you with my plea.
O Lord, please open up thine eyes,
Since You are all knowing and wise;
So You will be able to see,
What has been happening to me.
Listen to the words from my tongue,
Gone through my lips and have been flung;
About people from other lands.
That disregarded Your commands.
They defy You the living God,
Refusing to honor and laud;
It is so true O Lord of Host,
They are arrogant as they boast.
They brought their gods and ambition,
Their desires from other nations;
Making their altars and statues,
For use in immoral virtues.
They have laid waste from their own lands,
Done through the work of human hands;
If we cast their gods in fire,
Death to us is their desire.
Please rescue us from their control,
And have mercy upon my soul;
So we honor You on Your throne.
The everlasting Lord alone.
