The Blessing of Wisdom
How much better it is to gain,
Knowledge flowing into the brain;
With the understanding so bold,
More than all of your weight in gold.
For gaining the understanding,
Just could be very demanding;
If you unsure or do not know,
If knowledge for it did not flow.
For Jesus Christ in His kingdom,
Ensures the knowledge for wisdom;
And when it comes from the Savior,
More valuable than silver.
But beware with wisdom inside,
That it does not get mixed with pride;
It can make a person evil,
In which would invite the devil.
Pride can precede a disaster,
Causing the destruction faster;
With an arrogant attitude,
That makes a person very rude.
Innocent people must not stray,
Towards routes of the evil highway;
Because there is a hefty toll,
At the gate be paid with your soul.
Better be humble with the meek,
With lowly people you should seek;
Than share stolen goods with the proud,
Who go boasting around too loud.
For they will be in agony,
In pain for an eternity;
Tossed into the lake of fire,
Because of selfish desire.
