From the Heart Through the Pen

Reason For The Invention

Consider this a prelude of
Something I'm working on…

She pleaded, so I ignited a flame
Who knew she'd turn it into a torch
The remnants of what we had
No longer visible through
All that's been scorched
From a queen to a princess
To a mistress to someone useless

What she was before she met me
Took her to a place only a few experience
She treated me like some sort of experiment
She must've thought my intelligence was as artificial
As her feelings were superficial
Should have known they had no depth
If only I looked before I leapt

She got me on this high
Just to watch me crash down
Guess that's why they call her Monster
If only she knew Karma was bi
And she's making her rounds
Too late for pleasant manners
Doesn't matter what you offer

Pretty eyes and a smile
Always made me a sucker
Lips, thighs and what was inside
Took me from a friend to her lover
Deceit, mistrust, and those other guys
Secrets I never wished to uncover
Led to the utter defeat of my belief

Led to a new invention
Something we all need to apply
Hurry because right now
We only have a limited supply
To prevent such accidents from recurring
Free us from future devastating mistakes
I present the new and improved…Heart Brake

To be continued...
