Walking Wisely
Continue steadfastly in prayer,
Pay attention to things you care;
To offer prayers of thanksgiving,
As His mercy keeps you living.
Pray that God gives you time to speak,
Of the Word to those that do seek;
Telling the mystery of Christ,
Of passion being sacrificed.
Pray to make the mystery clear,
And salvation takes away fear;
After death what you do receive,
Eternal life if you believe.
So this is what you have to do,
Always be faithful and true;
Be wise in how you act towards those.
That are not Christians having woes.
Walk in wisdom to those that doubt,
What Jesus is still all about;
Redeeming them over a time,
For confessing all of their crime.
Everything said should be kind,
To comfort and to ease their mind;
Well thought out so that you will know,
How every answer should flow.
Let your speech always be with grace,
Seasoned with some salt and not mace;
Leaving no answer left behind,
That would leave a wandering mind.
