PINK
If you only knew
no one is in control
of ___anything
The small minds of man
...and his insignificant statue
Comes the moment
of self realization
there we fall
to our knees
Becoming the weepers
of our nations
The dawn of the dead
For we walk in droves
and crawl with our hands out
disconnected from the world
`O what a soul will endure!
We realize the metal wash
and we bathe blind
scrubbing our filth
What dirty remains
and the stain of man
Consequences resolve
by our human cages
we sit waiting to be fed
For we are famished
Then there were our animals
they will adore us
that is if we kept them well?
Our chains chaff our skin
and there we rub elbows
with our closest enemies
fighting for a sip of water
Truth serum injects our flesh
I cross my legs in reverence
and sponge the feet of creation
knowing that one day, I too
Will be inside that destined triangle
...and the sky will be pink
