Confession of Faith
I am weary feeling worn out,
My mind has been so full of doubt;
I feel so down and rejected,
While abandoned and neglected.
I feel like a dumb animal,
That is big and is abominable;
More like an ogre than a man,
That does not fit into a plan.
No understanding or wisdom,
Feeling more like as deaf and dumb;
For knowledge of the Holy One,
Is nil of the Father and Son.
Who has gone up into Heaven,
Where His mercy has been given;
Gathering wind within His hand,
And makes water flow through the land.
Who created the earth and moon,
And will be returning real soon;
What is the name given His Son,
Who all things created were done.
Surely it is what you must know,
Whose own blood on the cross did flow;
Could it be Christ Jesus the name,
That should make us glad to proclaim.
Every Word is proven true,
Who is a shield for me and you;
Whose Spirit will light your fire,
Makes sure you are not a liar.
