CROSSROADS

CROSSROADS

There are many crossroads where your heart may blend
With turbulence and sunshine; which season will win
Some paths lie unfinished and heavy-laden with stone
While others beckon' this way', to the center of dawn

If I could touch the face of God along my journey's way
There'd never be a question of the crossroads in my day
In a chaos-colored world, unlock your own sunrise
Twirl around rainbows and carrefours in your skies

Alone within the candlelight and dwellings of your mind
Perceive your real colors atop hills you've had to climb
Secure with golden thread when winter times are rough
Then twine your achievements with bits of gilded fluff

Hold your head up high, touch the wisdom of a sage
Crossroads are nothing more than a junction thru an age
Let the music of your steps fling fragrance to the wind
Find victory in your valleys and walk them with a friend
