Trees

Like trees you have your cycles
The leaves your family.
As you grow they change each year
They're so beautiful to see.

They shade you from the sunlight
Protect you from the rain.
If you really mess things up
They don't forget you name.

They help you fight the weather
Give so you won't break.
Always give you lots of love
They never take and take.

With God as your foundation
He makes your roots so strong.
And when you think that it's all bad
He'll help you right the wrong.

Go outside and look around
And you will plainly see.
Your family is all around you
You'll see them in the trees.
