Until We Meet Again
You were the light of my life,
heaven sent to me and my wife.
A bundle of joy…a beautiful
nine pound baby boy!
As you quickly grew, curly blond hair,
and big blue eyes at the age of two.
Kisses, hugs and “Daddy
I love you!”
The sand in the hour glass quickly
passed and my precious baby boy...
you turned five and had only
one question to ask;
“Why.”
Why is the sun so hot?
Why is the moon yellow?
Why? Why? Why?
Daddy, why?
At five, little red wagon, tricycle,
sand pile, a toy truck, and
a little dog name; “Chuck.”
At six you were my little pal,
fishing poles, swimming hole
and those were the days, when
you would cry at the end
of "Puff the magic dragon."
I'm sorry,
I just can't finish this …
His named was Johnnie…he was 51
( Died...31 Oct. 2010)
He was an artist extraordinaire!
I will love him forever!
Cancer is a damn thief!
