Full Confessions
Have pity upon me O Lord,
Let not my plea to be ignored;
Keep me in your mercy and grace,
And not to live in this disgrace.
Give unlimited compassion,
For everlasting salvation;
Wiping out my rebellious deed,
That was activated by greed.
Wash me thoroughly of my guilt,
Allowing salvation be built;
As Your Spirit cleanses within,
Where I am corrupted with sin.
I admit that I am to blame,
Not following all I proclaim;
My sin always in front of me,
As a reminder when I see.
I have sinned against You indeed,
And Your warnings I do not heed;
You view as evil what I speak,
And immoral of what I seek.
I desire not to be sad,
But with You while being glad;
Then for You I would have a chance,
Having this broken body dance.
Please create in me a clean heart,
Guilt and sin free for a fresh start;
Renewing the spirit in me,
And opening my eyes to see.
Do not take Your Spirit away,
To help me to trust and obey;
Restoring joy of salvation,
Making me Your new creation.
