TURNING TABLES







TURNING TABLES




How smug they sit at the table
All the ace cards up their sleeve
They think they rule supreme
But their just deserts they`ll receive.





They rule from a great height
And the shots are theirs to call
But the tables will be reversed
Then they will be in for a fall.


.....turning tables.....


I like to back the underdog
And see them come out on top
When the weak become dominant
And the ruler is in for the chop.





They`re not so smug anymore
Attempts to be on top are spurned
They now have a chance to feel
What it`s like when the tables are turned.
