Good Success
When the Lord restores the wealth,
It is almost like a dream,
While your spiritual health,
Shines with a new lustrous gleam.
Your mouth is filled with laughter,
As your heart is full of joy;
Knowing that the hereafter,
Is in the songs you employ.
The Lord has done such great things,
I am joyful with gladness;
For the dark clouds that gloom brings,
Are chased away with sadness.
Fortunes restore the flowing brook,
That in the spring sowed sorrow;
Shall reap for joy as they look,
The autumn of tomorrow.
Whoever goes forth and weeps,
Bearing the seed he must sow;
Will find the joy as he reaps,
Knowing God helped them to grow.
Those who are sowing in tears,
Will reap with the songs of joy;
For the Lord will calm his fears,
As the summer does deploy.
The songs of joy he will sing,
Carrying bundles of grain;
For the bounty he will bring,
Came from the God given rain.
