 Concrete Angel ( from Lachrymose)

Her future became fiction
She lost her need to fly

Concrete angel, hovering nearby

Crashing like thuder
With lightning in her veins

Concrete Angel, falling like rain

He was by his lover's grave
She was barefoot in the snow

Concrete angel never has to go

Destined for heavens
A promise turned away

Concrete angel prays for him each day

He won't have to tell
His guilt will never show

Concrete angel never has to know

She loved him so lonely
Carved his name on every tree

Concrete angel never wants to leave

Sorrowful sisters weep for her
She watched them lay him low

Concrete angel guards him now below

Far from her constellation
The price she pays is dear

Concrete angel, eternity is here

Behind the iron fence
Among the trees so still

Concrete angel, bound upon the hill
