Growing in Grace
God has rescued us from the dark,
Where lustful desires embark;
And brought us into His Kingdom,
Where His Son reigns with His wisdom.
It is all because of His love,
That keeps flowing richly above;
Because His Son has paid the price,
On the cross as a sacrifice.
The power of darkness is sin,
That is corrupting us within;
And having a horrible smell,
Which is filtering up from hell.
But the Son which has made us free,
Giving us the insight to see;
And our sins are forgiven,
For our ticket to Heaven.
Jesus is the image of God,
To whom we do honor and laud;
He created Heaven and earth,
And now giving us a rebirth.
Whether they are as kings or lords,
God looks at all of their records;
The type of rulers and powers,
Or abusing through the hours.
Christ existed prior to all,
When crucified tore down the wall;
And allowing you to come through,
So the Father can be with you.
