Think Spiritually Mature
What was considered of value,
Are now worthless because of Christ;
All from a different point of view,
And just why they were sacrificed.
But it is much deeper than that,
With knowing Jesus as my Lord;
With insight of where it is at,
And why Jesus Christ is adored.
It is because of Him I think,
Of everything is worthless;
And partake of His blood to drink,
Knowing that He will surely bless.
I threw it all away to gain,
A new relationship with Him;
Gone are the agony and pain,
No longer am I feeling grim.
Because I do truly believe,
That Jesus Christ is my Savior;
And I know that I will receive,
God looking at me with favor.
Faith is what it is based upon,
What happens after the last breath;
For faith tells me when I am gone,
There will be still life after death.
So I run straight onto the goal,
For winning the heavenly prize;
That will be given to my soul,
Opening my ears and my eyes.
