Please God
Because of the Lord Jesus I ask,
Anytime that you do a task;
I encourage you to excel,
Allowing His Spirit to dwell.
Even in the midst of your strife,
Keep living a God pleasing life;
Even more than that now you do,
With each and every day through.
Do this in the way you were taught,
And through the temptable onslaught;
Keeping you from sexual sin,
That fills with perversions within.
It is His will you not be grim,
Marking your devotion to Him;
Going the honorable way,
With a spouse not going astray.
It is immorally not right,
For passionate lust in His sight;
Merely like those who have ignored,
Teachings in the way of the Lord.
God gives you His Holy Spirit,
Based upon your thoughts and merit;
God did not call to be impure,
To be enticed seeing a lure.
Be holy in the eyes of God,
Pay homage with honor and laud;
Be humbly worthy of His love,
That is flowing from up above.
