Trust God
Those who trusts in the Lord,
Are never forsaken;
And will not be ignored,
Like mountains not shaken.
They remain forever,
Like a mighty fortress;
Walls that will not sever,
With mortar God does bless.
Evil will never rule,
Those of a righteous land;
His wrath comes on the fool,
That harms the righteous hand.
God helps those who are good,
Those whose motives are right;
Abiding as they should,
Finds favor in His sight.
But if they are corrupt,
And they have gone astray;
Blessings from God disrupt,
And He leads them away.
The scepter of darkness,
Shall not rest on the pure;
God will not let bleakness,
Entice them with a lure.
Turn aside crooked ways,
And God will take the lead;
As they worship and praise,
So their peace can succeed.
