 Bound By

The women walked barefoot through fields
Gossamer rags swaying

Bound by chains

The women walked through cities
In wings of couture
Fluttering, clicking

Bound by beautiful

The women walked through indigo
Gently nudging stars from their paths

Free
In the radiant skin
They were meant to live in

from Mystic
January, 2009
