Reproducing DisciplineThe rod with reproof gives wisdom, In preparing for His kingdom; It is helping a child to know, The direction that they must go. But a child undisciplined, Means the mother has also sinned; Causing a shame and a disgrace, By others who would see her face. Without vision they run wild, For an undisciplined child; Satan will tempt them with some bait, Which will then be sealing their fate. Then Satan has them as his slave, And his numbers he will engrave; So the son will not understand, When you give a righteous command. For the undisciplined in time, Just might cause an increase in crime; As righteous people see failure, And not yet saved by the Savior. But bless the ones, who have been taught, To follow God what He has sought; For honesty and truth will be, What your son will then truly see. Correct your son for peace of mind, Teach him to be gentle and kind; You will know that you reached your goal, When he brings delight to your soul.
