Witches Flying Around

Photobucket
the night was chilly, the wind blowing as i sat at the window
the spidery branches scraping across the window pane
creating a spooky atmosphere...setting my mind up for horrors
i started seeing ghost flying in circles around my head
witches flying around on broomsticks, goblins floating from the ground

then i began to see werewolves creeping around the trees
dracula changing into a bat, joining the other bats in an aerial dance
vampires slinking around, waiting for victims to drink their blood
as visions of snakes, spiders, all sort of slimy things danced before my eyes
witches flying around on broomsticks, goblins floating from the ground

sights of gravestones meeting my gave...one bearing my name...no less
so this was halloween...the one night of the year when all the spooks came out
climbing steps...ringing the doorbells of every unsuspecting residents
only to stand there threatening with their open bags...yelling...'trick or treat'
witches flying around on broomsticks, goblins floating from the ground
