Several years ago I wrote a poem
About a young mother
Who died in a tragic accident
Leaving two young children behind
Even more tragic
They saw the motor home go up in flames
More tragic yet
It was not an accident
The driver was committing suicide
Head on ninety miles into first vehicle
Two days ago, "In Immemorial Stacy Yager"
Another accident--black ice out of control
Remember the two kids?
The car was totaled, burned to the ground
Somehow the children made it to safety
I believe in Angels do you?
Immemorial to Staci
To Soar
to Seek
Embrace the skies
Alas no wings have I!
