'' It's Your Decision ''
Never make promises you know you can't keep,
A broken pledge can make more than you weep,
Don't try and change things that cannot be changed,
Change for change sake can leave you deranged.
Stay true to yourself and success will follow,
By being yourself, you need never feel hollow,
Never try to be someone you're not,
Be thankful forever for what you have got.
Only you can choose the life you will lead,
When warned of the dangers, always take heed,
Listen and learn that way you'll stay wise,
Seek out the truth and dispel any lies.
Learn about life and know right from wrong,
That way you'll find out where you belong,
You must determine the fakes from the frauds,
That way you'll succeed against all odds.
Treasure your family and all those around,
They can turn a mountain into a mound,
Keep your enemies at arms length,
Knowledge will be your ultimate strength.
There is nothing in life you cannot achieve,
You can do anything is what you must believe,
As long as you have the mind and the guile,
The end results will bring on a smile.
Accept you can't get everything you want,
Do nothing in life that can come back to haunt,
What goes around comes around in essence is true,
Never do anything that can come back on you.
If you fall to the ground get back on your feet,
Convince yourself that you will not be beat,
Nobody's perfect we all make mistakes,
It's by learning from them that our spirit awakes,
Work hard at learning and toil with a will,
Having more friends than enemies is truly a skill,
Pass on to others the knowledge you've gained,
It will make you proud seeing what they've attained.
Conflict and pain only bring on a tear,
Life is for living enjoy it whilst here,
This gift you've been given will be full of mystique,
It is yours alone and it's truly unique.
So love your existence it's yours till the end,
Will you be that person, on whom others can depend,
You can chart your future with accurate precision,
How will you manage it,
