God in You

My mouth is open unto you,
Having a place within my heart;
And let your affections run through,
Which will be giving a new start.

I talk to you as a child,
Not as an adult as I should;
Because you strayed and went wild,
No longer as spiritually good.

So I must treat you the same way,
As I recompense in like kind;
Showing you how you went astray,
Then I can discipline your mind.

Open your heart a place for me,
So I can stick in some delight;
Then you will be able to see,
With the gift of godly insight.

You need to stop where you embark,
Relations with unbelievers;
Back to the light out of the dark,
Away from all those deceivers.

Can righteousness live with sin?
Would you associate right with wrong?
Does life start from death within?
Could joy and pain jointly prolong?

Live not amongst both with and without,
For you must get away from them;
Since they will be causing you doubt,
Or you will find God will condemn.
