Only by Grace
Praise unto God our Father,
And Lord Jesus our Brother;
Waiting for His return on earth,
Having given us a new birth.
Because of His mercy and grace,
No longer alone will we face;
For we are born in a new life,
With helping us through all the strife.
It is the only evidence,
Needed to give me confidence;
To make it through every day,
And not trying to go astray.
A new life that we have been born,
As we continue to sojourn;
Since we are waiting for that day.
When Jesus Christ comes back to stay.
An inheritance has been held,
In Heaven where Jesus has dwelled;
While guarded by His power,
Every day through each hour.
It makes me glad about these things,
The joy and happiness it brings;
Even though I have to suffer,
Through the strife that makes it rougher.
Testing faith is why we have strife,
From tribulations in your life;
Just as how the Scriptures have told.
Your faith is more precious than gold.
