Spirit Unity
You need to live the kind of life,
That you will experience strife;
Which will prove that God has called you,
And He will help to see you through.
Please do not complain and grumble,
Rather be gentle and humble;
Being patient with each other,
Loving as sister and brother.
Through the peace ties together,
Just as calm and sunny weather;
Maintain unity that Christ gives,
Through His Spirit that each one lives.
For just as what we inherit,
Of one body and one Spirit;
In the same way that you must cope,
As called upon to share one hope.
There is one Lord one faith one birth,
And soon the new Heaven and earth;
You will see the Father and Son,
And the Spirit the three in One.
Favor from God He has given,
Unto us from up in Heaven;
Measured out by Jesus who gave,
His life to save us from the grave.
When Christ went to the highest place,
He shined favor with saving grace.
Took us captive and gave us gifts,
To help others as love uplifts.
