Advancing the Gospel
I would like you to know,
That what happened to me;
Very easily flow,
For insight you to see.
This is not my own views,
But a witness for Christ;
As I spread the Good News,
Refuse to be enticed.
So it has become clear,
That I remain on guard;
Since the darkness is near,
But I am a diehard.
The Lord gave me the most,
Confidence in the Word;
And completely engrossed,
For the truth to be heard.
More boldly than ever,
And fearlessly spoken;
Words that will not sever,
Or to become broken.
Some speak from jealousy,
In what the message tells;
Having green with envy,
But no love ever dwells.
Those who preach out of love,
Understand to defend;
Since it flows from above,
The good faith they intend.
