OLD LOST LOVES



So long ago I moved on
The Castle seen on a distant shore
Far across the sea
There sits a vision of me
Cast aside for a dream
You sit and wonder what might have been
The wooden boat that took you away
Can only sit beneath a bright moon
The flight of seagulls
Surround your heart in gloom
As we live with the choices we have made
Waiting for the break of dawn
An old lost love pines beneath serpents wings
Bringing on new storms in my heart the night brings
