Those who Love God
I write this to those who believe,
Reassured of what they receive;
Since they will give honor and laud,
To the Father and Son of God.
They know they have eternal life,
Although enduring all this strife;
Coping in a world so complex,
And waiting to go to the next.
So we have no reason to fear,
Being confident God will hear;
Us ask His grace for anything,
As we live here to ease the sting.
God listens to our request,
Rewards us doing our best;
So we know that we have for sure,
What we already asked Him for.
Whoever believes in the Son,
Is a witness what He has done;
Whoever believes in God not,
The darkness is where they have sought.
Nonbelief would make God a liar,
Their fate in the lake of fire;
Going through pain after last breath,
Experiencing eternal death.
Believing not counts as a sin,
And death certainly lurks within;
But believers call Christ Brother,
As a child of the Father.
