Before Us
There are no picnics one could say
But rest and drink along the way
The trials that follow close at heel
May be the worst but not fate seal
Forging ahead you'll meet many
Along these roads and like old penny
Become a friend briefly before
It's time to move through whats in store
Your role at this becomes clearly
The need to be more than sincerely
With them GOD chose to cross with paths
To leave His mark, to change ones past
Credentials none, like PHD
Not even close, but somehow He
Gave you knowledge to share while breath
Is yours to have before lifes death
Before us is the road that winds
That chips away and too does bind
Children that need more than a favor
The need to know, JESUS as Savior
