Don't Leave Me Behind (Inspired by Sally)

Photobucket
(This poem was inspired by an image Sally presented) www.poetrypoem.com/goodolesal)

Purple, orange, bright sky bursting wide open
Flashing, dashing colors of red, yellow and pink rays
A paint brush painting all over me
Clouds descending trying to blend and mix with the sun
Ocean waves rushing to shore
So many colors swirling splashing on me at once
I cautiously trot and gallop away
The sun is slowly going down
Night is rapidly closing in
In full speed I gallop far away
Don't leave me behind
I'm on my way
Seeking a calmer, safer, peaceful place
