Warmth and Wisdom
Folly is fun without wisdom,
But God cannot ever welcome;
And you will not feel His embrace,
For foolishness is a disgrace.
One who listens to warnings gains,
From the wisdom that he obtains;
As he forges on straight ahead,
Onto the Lord who gives him bread.
Without advance plans in his mind,
A person goes down the path blind;
If it is a winding pathway,
He can easily go astray.
One with advisers will succeed,
When he goes and follows their creed;
And will be delighted to hear,
The voice of God when it is near.
The pathway of life for the wise,
Will see the truth within his eyes;
Leading up to turn him away,
From hell and not to go astray.
God destroys the house of the rude,
Causing strife for his attitude;
But with wisdom He will cohere,
As God ensures nothing to fear.
Evil thoughts will disgust the Lord,
No longer are you one accord;
While pleasant words will ensure,
That your heart and lips are kept pure.
