Damage Control
I ask in the name of the Lord,
Do not let my words be ignored;
Of this earth and the worthless things,
In the dark pleasure that it brings.
You had learned a new attitude,
No longer are you to be rude;
Like those around you that you see,
That are shameless as they can be.
Get rid of lies and speak the truth,
Do not be acting so uncouth;
We are family next of kin,
No longer do we need to sin.
Please be angry without sinning,
And you will find yourself winning;
But never anger before bed,
For it lets Satan to be fed.
Stop stealing and go out to work,
Knowing not where Satan will lurk;
So do something good with your hands,
Abiding in God and His commands.
Speak only what is good and right,
Rather than for something to spite;
It helps the one that is in need,
To be fertile with the right seed.
Do not let the Holy Spirit,
Become upset with your merit;
He easily can take away,
His approval seal if you stray.
Get rid of hot tempers that burst,
The past hatred that you have cursed;
Rather be sympathetic and kind,
Easing the stress out of your mind.
