For the Faith
We are always thanking God,
While we honor and laud;
The Father of our Lord,
Through prayer within one accord.
We thank God since we have heard,
In the Gospel of the Word;
And your faith in Jesus Christ,
Shows how much you sacrificed.
Your love is shining so bright,
For the others in the light;
And you can easily cope,
Because within you have hope.
Your hope is safe in Heaven,
Where the love it is given;
And for the Gospel you choose,
You are filled with the Good News.
You know the message is true,
And you are given anew;
For with getting a new heart,
So that you have a fresh start.
You have heard some time ago,
About how the love does flow;
Knowing now that it is true,
Since the Good News is in you.
It is not just on merit,
That lets you to inherit;
But also the love you show,
Allowing blessings to flow.
