There it seems we wait to be
Boarding a flight much happily
In thought alone the Jet stands by
Again the wish joins too with sighs
Upon my wrist my watch keeps time
Each second paced I walk the line
Along tarmac my wait endless
It seems forever has yet to end this
There seems unfair has held us down
A bit too long it's hung around
Like weight that hangs upon my shoulders
The need to have, embrace, to hold her
My hands tremble, bit more these days
A need to feel what felt always
A state of mind, euphoric place
If just a glance, of just her face
The pilot steps outside once more
Saying it's time to close the door
To aircraft bound to nowhere now
Without the love who showed me how
To fly again without these wings
That failed to spread among such things
Somewhere... but always here
