Good News Power
Our bodies are made of clay,
Molded for to trust and obey;
And we are to honor and laud,
Our Father, the One true God.
Yet we have another pleasure,
That is a real priceless treasure;
That we are calling the Good News,
In which Jesus Christ paid our dues.
It has superior power.
That is releasing a shower,
Of many blessings from above,
In which is including His love.
We are pressed from every side,
Whether or not if we abide;
Even from a far distant shore,
Someone tempts dangling a lure.
But we are not crushed with despair,
When we go to the Lord in prayer;
Because we are not losing heart,
As our troubles we impart.
Maybe frustrated but not quit,
We would never try to forfeit;
Pursued, but still not forsaken,
Because I have been awaken.
God has opened my eyes and ears,
Chasing away all of my fears;
Outwardly maybe wastes away,
But inwardly renewed each day.
