Public Defender
The Father has given us His love,
Each of us just as a child;
With blessings flowing from above,
So tender loving and mild.
He actually loves so much,
We are called as children of God;
And we will feel His gentle touch,
If we truly honor and laud.
But the world does not recognize,
Each of us who truly are we;
And showing that they are not wise,
While being too blind to see.
The world does not recognize Him,
Neither have they even acknowledged;
And will live a life that is grim,
In a world they feel discouraged.
What we shall be is not all clear,
To us the future is unknown;
But we know Christ will reappear,
For to condemn or to condone.
As Christ really is we will see,
If in Him we have confidence;
And a guardian He will be,
With coming to our defense.
A public defender I am sure,
With us in the Heavenly court;
As in Christ we will be made pure,
To erase the past not distort.
But those living a sinful life,
Are disobedient in sin;
And will have an eternal strife,
For all the stains that are within.
