Being Justified
By faith God now has approved,
Through Christ approval from God;
And iniquities removed,
When we show honor and laud.
So we truly now have peace,
By what our Lord has done;
Now all hostilities cease,
And victory has been won.
For Christ is our Savior,
And can approach the Father;
And to stand in His favor,
With Jesus our Brother.
So we have the confidence,
And we are allowed to brag;
With Christ in our defense,
And the cross as our flag.
We will brag when we suffer,
Suffering makes us endure;
Though the sea waves get rougher,
Our faith helps keeps us pure.
Faith will build up our hope,
That helps us to persevere;
Making it better to cope,
When our faith is sincere.
We would be never ashamed,
Because of love in our hearts;
Faith gets stronger when proclaimed,
The Word of the Lord imparts.
