'' As Our Leaders Must Be Obeyed ''
Democracy the bastion of freedom and hope,
Where everything in the garden is rosy,
Nobody will say they can no longer cope,
As we all live a life that is cosy.
There are no rich or poor we are all the same,
No homelessness or different classes,
It's where everyone will see fortune and fame,
Where the government look after the masses.
Leaders we have chosen we have put in place,
They are all democratically elected,
We will never see them fall from grace,
No need to see them deselected.
That is the theory but we know it's a farce,
Politicians in the main are just scum,
If truth be told they all speak from the arse,
They believe the electorate are dumb.
In a sense we are because we vote them in,
When we know they will rob us all blind,
They are in a job where they always win,
When found fiddling an excuse they will find.
The next time we reach an election,
Be careful about who gets your vote,
They'll say anything to be your selection,
When chosen in your face they will gloat.
Democracy is not what it's made out to be,
We're just pawns in a massive charade,
Just like dictatorships none of us are free,
