God Comforts
Praise God, Father of our Lord,
To who is beloved and adored;
The Father of Lord Jesus Christ,
Had been crucified and sacrificed.
But we know that Jesus Christ lives,
So because of Him God forgives;
For He is so compassionate,
His love is richly infinite.
God the Father gives us comfort,
At any time when we do hurt;
He comforts us when we suffer,
When it seems as life gets tougher.
If done wrong God will not condemn,
He will assure to comfort them;
The same comfort that we receive,
When in Christ we truly believe.
But some people will just reject,
Since they have a lack of respect;
As they drown in their own sorrow,
Having no hope for tomorrow.
No need for us to feel so grim,
When we receive comfort from Him;
If we suffer He will rescue,
As He comforts to console you.
God has confidence within you,
That will help for seeing you through;
While you are willing to share,
Confessing to God in prayer.
