We Cry Out In The Wilderness
We cry out in the wilderness
For the aching, that is in our heart
For the loss of our child
The emptiness is tearing us apart
You do not expect to lose a child
We cannot explain the sorrow
We are living from day to day
We just cannot think about tomorrow
How do you come to terms with it?
How can we ease this hurt and pain
For we miss the presence of our loved one
Please God to us explain
Children of the material world
The pain you are experiencing, I feel
Asking how do you come to terms
In your confusion-asking if, it is real
Life on earth is so fragile
From the moment a child is born
The spark of life enters the child
To help the child's mind to form
When the life is taken away
The spark of life returns to wen'st it came
Into the arms of your family
Taking care, until you all meet again
Time is a great healer
Allow the healing process to start
Know that your child is now safe and well
Now allow God to heal your broken heart
