Being Justified by Faith
For whatever behooves,
The Father now approves;
Through Jesus Christ His Son,
Because of what has been done.
We have a peace with God,
When we honor and laud;
Giving peace in the heart,
With having a fresh start.
Through Christ we can approach,
God able to encroach;
And stand in His favor,
Because of a Savior.
In confidence we brag,
With the cross as a flag;
As glory we receive,
Because what we believe.
But we brag of trials,
The conflicts and battles;
That hit every day,
Since we trust and obey.
We suffer but endure,
That helps us to mature;
Facing reality,
To build morality.
That creates confidence,
Without the arrogance;
But being not ashamed,
Of what we have proclaimed.
