Oh Ireland beloved Ireland
Homeland across the sea
To be my motherhood
This the land of my father beckoning me
In this a soft morning mist
The unhygienic stone I once did kiss
With the promise I would go there again
But this time pass the stone with a grin
Is there a Castle in limerick rhyme
That on it bares my family name?
And would I throw in the pond a time
Beget the castle today be but stones
The disrepair my ancestor put to groans
The hues of blue colors of green the frogs
There upon the path a leprechaun jogs
Is an American Irishman I now be
And yet Ireland in my heart well beacon me
Landscape #2 SPACE JUNK FALLING
Space junk flying all around
The earth the moon
Coming in chunks to the ground
Somewhere two lovers swoon
But do they know
What goes up must someday comes down
as debris falls from the skies all around
What dear love was that crashing sound?
Landscape #3
Mother's Day
Standing looking beyond the mist
Shadowed by tall trees
Where does the path lead?
In the beginning we all were young
The path lead to the unknown
But today Grandma is ninety
Her health is failing just released from the Hospital
She knows with failing eyes and hearing
What is in front of her in the mist
The path that leads to heaven
And a path we all must take some day
But not yet dear Mom
Happy Mom's day and a step at a time
We well hold your hands and go into the future
Be it today tomorrow together we travel together
