F – ANSI Reunion 2012

Sometimes it's very hard
To sort the legend from the facts
When most of your life is spent
Under the Official Secrets Act.

Would the Cold War been longer
Without Ramiros and Ross;
Without Mayling and Barnes
Could The Cold War have been lost;
Was Jackson really necessary,
Ireland and Simpson even missed
And the question of question
Did Johnny Bax even exist?

Now the FANSI boys are gathered
For rest and recreation
A beer and schnapps or two
And lots of meditation.
Is the world seemingly grateful
Is it treating them well
Is it covering them with medals
Is it bloody hell?

Sometimes it's very hard
To sort the legend from the facts
When most of your life is spent
Under the Official Secrets Act.
