My poetry pages celebrate my long journey back from the bolt of a hemorrhagic stroke
on Sept. 21/01. By the Lord's compassion, I am a Survivor!
I believe in God everything is possible. Miracles do happen!
Guardian Angels do encamp around us! I serve a living God! Alleluia!
My wish is to share the wonderful love of the Lord with my readers through
the poetry I write. I made a promise to the Lord as I slowly recovered
from eight weeks in a coma & being on life support.
I promised the Lord to praise Him through my writings & to worship Him until I draw
my last breath. I have faithfully kept my promise & The Lord has indeed sustained me.
As you tiptoe amoung my treasures, I pray that God's peace may fill your hearts.
Allow my poetry echoes to flow freely through the creveces of your mind.

I am a student of life and last but not least I am a stroke survivor of 11 years.
Writing first began for me as part of my therapy during my slow recovery
and rehab in Canada
My greatest joy is to rest in the presence of my Lord God by prayer
I enjoy cooking very much and my recipes include a cherished collection
from my country of Belize.
I am in the process of writing my memoirs and looking forward to having
my poetries published
I am a smooth jazz fan and I also love classical music. I am an avid reader
I collect antique lamps and I cherish my DVD collection of old movies
Human beings are my spiritual sisters and brothers whatever their races,

When I was 3, I lived in a small town. We lived on a dirt road.
We had an outhouse. We had an icebox, not a refrigerator.
Until I was 21 I never had air conditioning. We never had carpet.
We drove old cars. Television had not been invented.
I live in the same town now and it is overpopulated.
The road is paved. We have indoor plumbing. We have a refrigerator
and air conditioning and carpet. We have two nice cars.
We have a soaring crime rate. We have a drug epidemic. We have people
trying to take Christ out of everything. An interstate highway roars
just a few blocks away. This is known as PROGRESS.
I desperately want to go back to my childhood, to the way things were .
When life was slow. When you knew your neighbors. When you never locked
your car or your house. When children were safe playing in the streets.
When we had nothing, but we had everything.

I started writing in 2007 after the sudden passing of my brother in 2006,
I needed a way to express my loss. My poem in memory of my dear brother

In honor of all veterans who have fought for freedom in the world, no matter if it was
in the past, the present or in any future wars or conflicts. I support brave young men
and women who defend our freedom and keep us all safe from the harm that lurks in
this world of ours. I served our nation and citizens from Feb. 1968 until Feb. 1974 and
had one combat tour of duty in South Vietnam, I was there at a remote South Vietnamese
air base called Binh-Thuy and I served my first two months of my 12 month tour of duty
with the 632 Security Police Squadron helping to defend our airbase from attacks from
November 1968-January 1969, the experience of having served with these very brave and
very dedicated Security Policemen changed my life forever and I will never forget them
or the bond we all shared with each other there and knowing that we all would have died
to protect our fellow airmen serving at Binh-Thuy AB. It was an honor and also a great
privilege to have served with them, I have dedicated my site here to honor all of them
and also all veterans who have served our nation whether in war or peace time service.

Special Purpose Vehicle Mechanic working on both American &
South Vietnamese Air Force crash fire trucks & crash rescue

I had also served as a U.S. Air Force security policeman at
night to help man the defensive positions that were around
