Father's day came a few weeks early
Kids said the day to go to see graves
A great day to go to the cemetery

All the years I knew nothing of Mom's past
Her linage from the second son of Constantine the Great
Mom's tree a descendant of Kings and Queens
Nobility, "Yes dear, I am doing the dishes!"
The bold the proud the fallen in grace
Oh how manlyhood the years have faded Nobility
How do I tell her I am the King in my domain?
When she is the one holding the bow and arrows
