Intervening Grace
How long O Lord will you forget,
So much O Lord I do regret;
Will You forget me forever?
Are our ties will you sever?
No longer do I feel your grace,
The comfort of Your sweet embrace;
As you hide Your face from me,
No more am I able to see.
How long do I decide alone,
Without knowing if You condone;
I feel there is no tomorrow,
Having my heart in such sorrow.
My enemy claims victory,
Proceeds to triumph over me;
How long will let him he persist,
We are growing weak to resist.
Look at me my God and my Lord,
Do not let my plea be ignored;
Look at me and light up my eyes,
Let Your wisdom make me wise.
In Your mercy I put my trust,
For I know You are fair and just;
I find joy in Your salvation,
In being Your new creation.
I will sing unto our Lord,
Because He is loved and adored;
No matter what that may take place,
I will wait to feel His embrace.
