My Life is Good
Her quiet breathing, smooth and
light as she slumbers in her sleep
Lying here, watching her makes
my heart skip a beat
As the new born sun emits its bright light
through the darkened curtains, seeing
the glow on her sweet face becomes
an early morning delight
The aroma of a cup of newly brewed coffee
breaks her sleeping spell and with a bright smile,
she says… “Good morning, my Darling.”
My life is good and all is well!
