I have a news friend, his name is
Robert, he lives in a fare off land
He writes verses, he calls poetry
Robert’s so called poetry is nothing
more than hate messages that he sends
to all
He ridicules, accuses and defames
Somehow, Robert seems to think that
everyone is fair game; and that makes
him a big man, but in reality, it makes his poetry lame
The truth is, Robert’s a young man, who obviously
has had no guidance or loving hand to guide him
through his youthful span
Robert has no friends; girls think he’s a geek
because he acts stupid, and unrefined all the time
Ah! All is not lost, Robert has talent and with a little help
could become a renowned poet in his native land
but, he probably will not, you see… for he’s
programmed himself to be the village clown.
