 In the Early Morning Dawn

I’ll soon be among the ocean’s waves
 and its never ending tide
I’ll be in the golden sun rays as they
shine from heaven’s skies
I’ll be in the warm summer winds as they
take me on their lofty rides
I’ll  be in the colorfull leaves of autumn
as each one tumbles and dies
I’ll be in the first snow of winter as it
blankets the warm ground
I’ll be in the flow of the mighty river as
 It makes its crashing sounds

So when you see the eagle soaring on high
or a dust devil swirl across the ground or
perhaps the first rain drop splashing down…
Think of me…
Though I’m gone…
 My spirit will live on…
in the sunlight of each
early morning dawn
