ODE TO THE KING OF HEARTS
Thousands came from near and far, they stood in the pouring rain
They all sang “Amazing Grace” as they lowered him to his resting place,
he wore a  smile on his face.

Some laughed and some cried but all would remember
the face that turned the world upside down
Some said; “He’s was a ledged” others said; “He was the king
and had the best sound around.
No one knew how sad he had become, money, fame
and a famous name, but all his life he’d lived on “Lonely Street.”
He sang them all; from Las Vegas to Bourbon street.

No one will ever be able to fill his “Blue suede shoes!”
He will be remembered, Today, Tomorrow and Forever.
He will always be the legendary King of hearts.
